These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website between
- you as a policyholder of AXA Group or
- as a user of this website (Group Scheme Member ) and
- www.axaplus.ie (“Your Group Scheme”) and
- Affinity Financial Network Limited ("AFN").
Your Group Scheme is a party to these Terms and Conditions solely for procuring an acknowledgement from you, the User, and AFN, of the exclusion of its liability and other matters relating to AXA Group as provided for herein.
Eligibility Requirements
This site is provided for the use of policy holders with AXA in Ireland and their families. Proof of eligibility may include sight of your Insurance documents showing you as a current AXA customer. A supplier on the site may seek proof of eligibility to provide you with a special offer or service. In some circumstances AXA may also be required to provide a supplier with confirmation.
Website Maintenance
The Site is hosted, operated and maintained by AFN for AXA Group.
AFN will be happy to deal with any technical difficulty or query and can be contacted here.
Obligations of Suppliers
Any contract which is concluded between you and a supplier arising from your use of the Site, is between you and that supplier. We aim to ensure that products and services offered on this website meet your needs. We understand there may be times when you do not receive the service you expect. Where this may be the case we invite you to contact both the supplier and ourselves. This will assist us in selecting appropriate suppliers for this website.
User Submissions
Any communication which you post or transmit to the Site by any means whatsoever shall be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary.
Commercial exploitation of the Site is strictly prohibited.
AFN reserves the right to prevent further access by you to the Site for violating the Terms and Conditions, or use of the Site or transmission or posting communications to the Site, which AFN deems to be in breach of the Terms and Conditions of Use.
Governing Law
The Site is controlled and operated by AFN from Ireland.
Neither AFN nor AXA Group makes any representation that the goods and/or services or suppliers advertised on the Site are appropriate or suitable for use or that they comply with the legal or regulatory requirements of any location.
Access to the Site from locations where the contents of the Materials or the services or goods advertised on the Site are illegal is prohibited.
If you access the Site you do so on your own initiative and at your own risk and you are responsible for compliance with the applicable laws and regulations of the location in which you access the Site.
The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland and the Irish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction for the purpose of any proceedings arising out of or in connection with the Site or the Materials.
If any provision of the Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
No waiver of any term or condition of this Agreement shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or any other term or condition.
Changes
Any changes to the Terms and Conditions will be posted on the Site. Any such changes shall become immediately effective. By using the Site, you agree to be bound by any such changes and, therefore, you should from time to time visit the Site to determine the terms and conditions by which you are bound.
